The generation and development of high-peak-power and phase-coherent ultrafast light sources enabled us to observe novel nonlinear optical phenomena and to watch and control dynamical processes in real-time with unprecedented temporal resolution. The purpose of this meeting is to bring together several researchers within India and from abroad, working in the broad discipline of physical, chemical and biological dynamics in gas/condensed phase, particularly in (but not exclusively limited to) the field of ultrafast nonlinear optics and optical spectroscopy.
